St. Paul Religious Education at 718 W Main, Owosso, MI 48867 US - A few words from our Director of Education here at St. Paul....

The Religious Education Office is located on the main floor of St. Paul School, and can be best accessed by the northwest main door of the school(Bradley Street).

Through this Office, its Director, and the community of catechists who gather here on a regular basis during the school year: We are committed to developing opportunities for the faith formation of the children and youth of our parish (and most specifically, those attending the Shiawassee County public schools) so that they may:
-Receive our Church's living heritage and integrate it with their own lived experience;
-Grow in discipleship based on a developing relationship with Jesus;
-Learn to make responsible and mature decisions in the light of their faith;
-Relate responsibly and justly to all God's people and creation.

Our parish outreach to the children and youth in grades 1 - 8 (attending public schools) are the direct concern of this Office.

The Sacramental Preparation for First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation for ALL our parish children and youth (i.e. those attending St. Paul Catholic School in addition to those attending the public schools) are coordinated through the parish Religious Education Office. Parent Education Sessions for each of these sacraments are provided to assist parents in their important task as the first and primary educators of their children.

The responsibility for outreach to the high school youth of the parish is that of the parish Youth Ministry Office. (See this website for additional information about high school programs.) We invite you to learn more about the people who comprise our staff and their ministry here at St. Paul. Our calendar will be periodically updated to keep you informed of upcoming meetings and special events.
